Unless those businesses live off the government contracts, or those businesses go broke and get government bailouts because they are too big to fail, or those businesses lobby the government to change the laws so that they are guarantied not to fail, or those businesses get generous tax breaks while the government has to go into deficit, or those companies...

FDR... that horrible Socialist... said govt workers should NEVER be allowed to unionize... it was just the wrong thing to do. sounds pretty conservative today.
Now we have govt workers unionized, using their union dues to elect leftist polecats, who give more goodies to govt workers to buy their votes... and the cycle continues... and the taxpayers pay for it.
