Looking for an affordable power inverter

Hey guys, just wanted to get a recommendation for a power inverter for my truck. I'd like to be able to charge batteries and the like with it, but I don't wanna spend a fortune.

Any decent brand to be on the look out for, and where is a good place to buy?

You need a true sine wave inverter, and they are not cheap.
The low cost inverters won't play well with chargers for lithium batteries.

I've had mixed results.

Craftsman chargers will destroy an inverter in a matter of seconds and may damage the charger.

My Milwaukee charger does just fine, as does my laptop charger and DeWalt charger.

I mostly have Milwaukee batteries, so that is good news. What brand/model do you use JP?

I think I bought it at Home Depot.

I don't really recall.

It is a 400w model. I've had it for quite a while.
