    Yeap, this motor is gone, I installed a new remanufactured Trane motor, is up and running. It was a task moving around a almost 4,000 lbs. Motor.

    Nice job! It's quite a task changing a motor on one of those, but at least it was a CVHF, and not a CVHE!

    I agree. On a CVHE there is a couple more steps, the shaft is different.

    Hard to tell in the pictures, nothing to compare it too. I should have picked up on the 4000 LBS part, LOL. I'm guessing that goes on a chiller?

    Yes, a Trane centrifugal. The motors can weigh anywhere from 2600 lbs. to 4400 lbs. Requires a complete compressor disassembly to remove the motor.
