Just looked at teh USA Jobs site for the fed gov, LOTS of positions listed for AC Mechanics in many locations. Anyone currently working for the civil service in any capacity care to comment on their experiences, etc.?

Alot of saluting going on in those jobs!

Better have the right answer, for the right time and for the right person!
and they dont pay that well,,
private contractors that work on the base will pay you alot higher wages , like 43 an hour!
That is if they out source, and Base commander is contracting out to the local companies?
if not its Because the Locals arent rubbing the right, wing! lol
