Correct me if I'm wrong Wolfdog, and MD, but from the conversations I've had with JW's, its my understanding that JW's believe that Jeus was impaled on a stake, a single virticle pole that He was nailed to, with His hands above His head, as opposed to the mainstream Christian view that He was nailed to a cross- a virticle pole with a cross beam on it that His hands were nailed to.
Two questions I been wondering:
1) How is this view supported
2) What is the difference? In either case, the end result was the same, but those who argue the point do so vehemently, in some cases even use the difference to pick an argument with.TB
Everyone knows something I don't.
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
