shoulda saw this 20 year old package unit at our local habitat store. only $500.00 and had a new "air compressor installed last year". bottom was filled with crap. it was entertaining.

It even comes with a dirty condenser!

I can't fix it if it won't stay broke..

maybe the 2.5 ton would have been big enough if they cleaned the coil

Can you imagine what the A-coil looked like...
I wonder how many systems get upsized due to dirty coils and the homeowner thinks that the unit just isn't big enough.
I'm willing to bet the ductwork wasn't upsized when the A/C was...

    Let's see...
1997 condenser, 1988(?) or so furnace...$500.00...sounds like a deal to me as long as I have a crappy garage to hook it up to. Better yet, take to the scrap yard and get some money for lunch for it. But somebody WILL buy it.

I have a bridge for sale, too. Over looks the Hudson River, needs a bit of maintenance, but is a steal!!!
