    Testo 905-t2 contact thermometer

    Who's using the 905-t2 for other than flat surfaces?

    I mean like for temp splits on delta T and temp rise for furnace checks?

    Works great for that. Stabilizes in air in seconds.
    Mine busted at the head and I just wired a k-plug to it and use it in my meter. You might just look for the sensor and plug only so you can use it with other meters. The 905 is pricy for the features IMO

    Hey Russ,

    There is a YouTube video of the 905 measuring copper water tube temp. The sensor head flexes.

    That much I do know of the 905.

    i bought it for its quick response time with out any consideration to the sensor size.

    Now I know from Jim and you guys there are no issues with in-duct temp measurements, I'm good.
