Democratic National Convention to open with Muslim prayer?

Yep, thats right folks...its in the news. Didn't post a link because it disgusts me.

Why not? They decided the abortion sacrifice would not be suitable for prime-time.

Not to be the questioning sort, but I got the impression the Muslims booked their own spaces to coincide with the DNC. Also this prayer that is opening the convention is actually taking place outside in a park, did the Democrats plan this or are the Muslims trying to pull a fast one on everyone saying they are opening up the convention?

Even though Jumah at the DNC is listed on its website, the DNC host committee said it is not endorsing the event.

"The Charlotte in 2012 Convention host committee does not endorse any events on the events page that are not denoted with a Charlotte in 2012 or Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) logo. This event, like many others on the page, was user generated. This events page is intended to give local residents and convention-goers a comprehensive look at convention week activities and should not be considered an endorsement of any particular event or group by the Charlotte in 2012 Convention Host Committee or the DNCC," DNC Host Committee spokeswoman Suzi Emmerling said.

But Jasser said Democrats need to do a better job of distancing themselves.

"It gives recognition to individuals that have an ideology that radicalizes Muslims, and actually leads towards a higher risk for terrorism," he said.

The Islamic Society of North America, which is the largest Muslim organization in the U.S., did not want to comment.

Of course this will spread all over the net that the Democrats are in bed with Muslims.

Are you saying that they are not? One thing is for sure the Democrats will not allow a "Christian" preacher to get anywhere near their podium. A Muslim yes, a communist yes, an anti American yes, transsexual yes, etc., etc. Just as long as he is not a real "American" that is for sure. Thank you, thank you very much

I am saying that the Muslims throwing this shindig are trying to get recognition tagging themselves to the Democratic convention. Kind of clever really.

So real Americans are only old, fat white men? Cuz that's all I see at the RNC on tv this week.

Read a story in the paper about some hillbillies at the RNC throwing nuts at a black cameraman for CNN, they said "this is how we feed the animals" before they were escorted out.
Must be more of those 'real' Americans.

The reason that's all you saw is that that's all MSNBC aired. Try getting your news from more diverse sources. Somewhere between the extremes is closer to reality. Try something like this; http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/31/us...s.html?_r=1&hp

    It looks like these Muslim prayer sessions dedicated to the Democratic Party are going to get even better;
It was also announced that a larger Jumah is scheduled for Charlotte in October during another three-day weekend event in which Minister Louis Farrakhan will participate.

And yet, American leftist Jews continue to support the Democrat Party. I have Jewish inlaws who flat out deny that the Democrats support the likes of Jew hating Farrakhan.

Jews can be just as bigoted as any other ethnic group or religious order (Since "Jew" can refer to either/or). But I agree about it being dumbfounding that an ethnic/religious group that has been so persecuted for so many millenia would support any faction that in any way is hateful toward Jews.

Looks like more emails floating about.......lol

The jummah festival or prayer service is 4 days before the dnc.....and is not connected to it.

Looks like the same guy who is giving the closing prayer of the rnc is doing the same for the dnc......

but he is a catholic............ cultist....

unless you are southern babtist......in my book......you are a cultist.

Id like to go down there to get my jummah on...... non alcoholicly of course..... but I just cant stand north carolina....

There is something seriously wrong with that place.... so much so that I hate even thinking about that god forsaken state.

Makes you wonder about Obams dont it....... I think north carolina has more child abuse than any other state.... and while up here in tennessee we got momma sisters and daddy brothers....... they have momma daddys down there in north carolina.....

    Its one ****** up place.

Must be a lot of muzzies in NC....... of course Ive only had the displeasure of going into western NC......mexicans, backwoods hillbillys.....and around the asheville area...... freaks.... thats the only way I can describe them.......freaks.....

Saw a man one night in a store there.....wearing a purple cape...... It was around halloween....... I told the girl he must be going to a halloween party or something and she said "No, he always dresses like that"

Freaks......and homos......asheville has got to be the homo capital of the south.
