I think it's
Purchace and consume as much as possible.........
My doctor gave me six months to live, but when I couldn't pay the bill he gave me six months more.

Let me jump in here.
I think first you purchase it and then you drink it.
I am pretty sure that's the law up there.

All alcohol laws in Vermont are controlled by the State. So it doesn't differ from town to town.
You must be 21 to purchase or consume. .08 is the legal drunk driving limit. Bars close at 2 a.m. except Sat. when they close at 1 a.m. No open containers on the street. These are pretty typical in must places in the US.
What is different for Vermont: All package hard liquior must be purchased at a franchised State Liquior Store. Generally there is only one of these stores per town. Bennington has one.
. Prices are set by the State and are the same throughout. Can buy beer and wine in most any food store or super market. You can buy mixed drinks in bars. No take outs of beer or liquior form bars.
You can only have no more than one drink in front of you at a time. You get a token if someone buys you a drink and you have one already.
Gambling rip open tickets are legal in bars. As are Super Bowl Pools.
And of course drinking in Muskie's room is legal.

Just in case.

All that's left is to get some fresh IC Light and Saxonburg bologna.
.08 does suck, my highest breathalyzer reading was .279, told the police man I had to drive.........I couldn't walk. Good thing I've grown up since then.
