First, it was no micron gauges. Then it was bad sensors, now it's the lack of simultaneous display.

If you'd just say "I'm perfectly happy with my SMAN and Testos and have no desire to invest further money on a third digital manifold set that I could better spend on other tools."

They get to slap the "Made in Germany" label on the outside of it, but only have to pay a relatively small number high cost German workers to watch machines make some injection molded plastic parts, and some CNC machined aluminum parts, and do some final assembly to mate them with the Chinese made electronics parts.

IMO you are absolutely right... and the co gets to say: SEE, our product is 'Made in Germany'. However the truth is... the case is full of Chinese parts. Are the Chinese parts good or junk? That question remains to be proven... I remember in the late 1950's-early 1960's when 'Japanese Transistor Radio' meant JUNK... Now nobody makes electronic components in the USA anymore.

The AK-900 shows the following information simultaneously:
Suction pressure
Saturated suction temperature
Suction line temperature (T1)
Suction Superheat
Liquid pressure
Saturated Liquid temperature
Liquid line temperature (T2)
Subcooling
Delta between sensors (T2-T1)

Along with refrigerant type and the bar graph.

To my knowledge, no other RSA has the bar graph.

I've found it invaluable in many situations and am constantly finding new ways to use it.

Yep better close it to much good info here silly DC displaying everything on one screen no need to toggle with a great backlight tough as nails waterproof and a bargraph that's it comp doesnt offer and oh yea pretty much half the price and not made in china. We wouldn't want the secret to get out.

Just got done fixing my digicool sensor cord, it broke because I tripped over the cord and pulled the wires out of the plug..

Finally I dont have to bring my Cooper SH66 around with me to check SH and SC..

I might call up Digicool and buy a few extra plugs, if they will sell them to me..

I'm sure that Brenda will take care of you, but if she doesn't for some reason, they are available through digi-key online. I've got the part numbers around here, somewhere, if you need them.
