The back light on the Digi-Cool is more than enough to be able to read the display.

Somebody (Doug from digicool or Jim Burgmann from TTT) should post a video of the AK900 in action. I might pull the trigger on a second digital if a great video was posted.

So it appears some of the parts come from China, and are assembled in Germany?

So what is the difference between all made in China and parts made in China yet assembled elsewhere?

Note I am not picking on Testo or anyone else... just curious as to what advantage there is to a co assembling Chinese parts somewhere else?

FWIW The JB's were discontinued a year ago if they still got some.

I just read all six pages of this thread. Who gets my invoice?

The Lockharts are putting out a fantastic tool, and I'm convinced if they keep their hand in the game, they will continue to force the Big Boys to keep playing the "Us too!" game.

Don't like the Digi Cools? easy. No one is forcing you to buy anything except whatever ACA mandates.
The views and opinions posted here are my own. They do not reflect the corporate policies of my employer and will most likely get me fired at some point.

They get to slap the "Made in Germany" label on the outside of it, but only have to pay a relatively small number high cost German workers to watch machines make some injection molded plastic parts, and some CNC machined aluminum parts, and do some final assembly to mate them with the Chinese made electronics parts.
