Coil Change out on a GEOCOMFORT today.
Its going to be a great day today.... Disassemble.
Always measure that new coil before taking the old one out.
Hard lesson. If your not getting the results you desire then change. People change from either desperation or inspiration.

The change out went well. Put in a new TXV and drier along with it. Note to Geocomfort : Please stop using foam tape . Its a bear to remove. The best route in my opinion the wire wheel attachment for your drill works best. I took pics but having trouble downloading them from my phone . Sorry.

same as water furnace. one hour job to remove factory installed foam tape from around drier, txv. i have found nothing to remove this easily.. dont you wish they would build the evaporator section about 2-4 inches taller just to ease in removal. keep fingers crossed for rag connection supply duct.
