    I just checked screwits attached drawing and its the auxillary contact in the AFD (5U2 ) that locks in the AFD after the momentary start signal from the starter module . I suspect this is your problem .

    that is a pretty expensive motor replacement to keep disabling safties like that.

    The fastpack is configured for an AFDB starter with 1500:5 CT's. With this starter configuration we do not get the phase reversal option. We did bypass the High pressure switch and still no luck same phase loss at shutdown. I will look at the lock in wiring and see how it works with this VFD

    The chiller once started will operate until the stop signal is given. Loads to 100% and contols correctly. The VFD has the phase reversal, power monitoring over under voltage and phase loss built into its software. So the Trane Fastpak software is a redundant backup
