    Hvac5646,

Why are you so against digi-cool?

I believe they make a great product and I hope to do a review of the AK900 soon.

There are a couple of folks here at H-talk that would eat nails before they would say anything nice about a DC or consider buying one... never figured out why... guess they just do not like the DC.

Personally... after watching the video on the Sman4... I may need to start hassling Doug Lockhart for the wireless DC... He is always tight-lipped about new stuff...

Not against them. Think they are a good product. Just not for me. I also think Toyota makes a good truck but I won't buy one of them either.

He just feels obligated to carry on his uncle's crusade against DC.

I have the testo 557 and would never spend that much money on gauges again.

I don't like them so much that I am putting them on craigs list. I just bought the fieldpiece ST4, Dual-Temperature Meter, and will use a normal set of gauges.
The opinions expressed by me are not that of my employer.

Just wondering what don't you like about the 557? We sell a lot of them and have very few if any complaints.

Not bad to upper Michigan. They are a good product. If it your first set you will wonder how you ever lived without them.

Problem with analog gauges is they can be as much as 25# off... right out of the box... NEW.

If that level of accuracy is not important... then analog gauges are fine.

Did you get the latest temp sensor wiring?
The one I saw looked like I was looking at a set of red and blue 10gauge THHT wires Do yourself a favor and rip the velcro off and just use a reusable zip tie to mount them
