Daikin REYQ72MTJU, LC Fault Code
Has anyone experienced an LC Fault Code on a Daikin VRV hooked up to a Daikin REYQ outdoor unit? In the service manual it says this is a "Malfunction of Transmission between Inverter and Control PC Board". I checked all connections but this is an intermittent problem so I'm not sure if I've solved the problem yet.

It is unlikely to be the board since it is intermittent.
Make sure the unit has a good ground, and that the grounds for the components in the unit are good.
Make sure the control wiring between the boards in the unit are not routed against line voltage wires, especially the leads for the compressor.
Basically, bad connection, bad ground, noise, or a bad board.If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

Mark,
I did everything you advised and still had the problem so I changed out the main board on the master outdoor unit. It looks like I need to program the new board. Can this be done without additional software? I have the service manual and I'm reading up on how to use the LED's and buttons on the board but it doesn't quite make sense without some sort of display.
