Another Vacuum Setup
Three-way air manifold
2 - 1/4" X 3/8" X 3/8" vacuum hoses
1 - 3/8' X 3/8" X 3/8" vacuum hose
3/8" hand valve
1/4" port with shut off for micron gauge and to break vacuum with refrigerant prior to removing setup/putting on gauges
It all fits in that little red back to the left. On a small k-body two door freezer it pulled down to 500 microns in about 10 minutes. Took a half hour lunch and when I came back it was at 320 microns.
Supermarket Tech...and anything else the boss finds for me!

I like that. I could use a set up like that for 3 point recoveries on ice machines. Where did you get the three way valve ?

you'd be better off mounting that 3 way valve to the pump and eliminating a hose. i would also put the micron gauge on the system side.

I might have to check into mounting it to the vacuum pump. I don't want it on there permanently thou. I like the micron gauge where it is.
