    I suspect my appointment had something to do with the concept of assigning a sense of responsibility 'so we may not have to ban this 'tool-guyl' as a component of the decision. That said, as a committee member, the job involves little more than voting on rules/violations as posted that we all know. I am just one of the guys here, nothing more.

    Wishful thinking. Doubt the writer has a good concept of what he is talking about. Short out a SCADA system? Not like we have been using bare wires to transmit data.

    agreed, these carbon fibers would have to be hundreds of feet long in order to do any damage, and they would have to stay straight (or reasonably straight) in order to short out anything.

    I think any dunce with even a little knowledge of tactics will realize that any major conflict is going to start with a cyber attack.
