    Americans need to re-learn freedom

i found out that California requires all tattoo body pierce people to go through a short training program , and no doubt a fee.

    I ACTUALLY AGREE with this

a long time ago a friend of mine opened a tattoo shop when he was 21.
he told me he gave some guy a tongue pierce and he hit the vein and the guy's blood was hitting his shoes.
    "is that normal?"
    "..um...yeah"

the only requirement they demanded was he owned a sterilizing machine.
years in business and the health department never went there once.

i had to go through some BS just to handle refrigerant.
must be carefull ,after all , it is 70% mineral oil.

but now i realize how many careers require a permit from the government.
the government acts like they care about things but all they want is the money.

    -----------------

i feel sorry for the younger generation
    ____________

Felipe graduates high school and decides to get a job as a security guard.
$$$ pay some company for guard training , and extra for mace, baton, and CPR.
$$$ pay the government to get a license
ends up making 6 bucks per hour working graveyard, reading a newspaper.

decides "screw this" and heard the forklift operator is a good job, that pays 18 per hour.
    $$$ pay for training
    $$$ pay for permit.
drop sister off a beauty school so she can get a licence to cut hair
instead of $18 per hour, they pay him $12 per hour
sick of being bossed around all day , he quits, decides to go back to security for a while

    guard card now expired.
    $$$ take classes again
    $$$ pay the state again

he heard about a great job but doesn't have the money to get a truck CDL and needs to jump through all kinds of hoops just to drive a truck into a port.
    ...a port...wooooooo....the responsibility!

now he gets a job as pest control
    $$$ needs training
$$$ needs a permit from the EPA to spray orange juice on termites.

    whats next?
FCC training to answer phones and become a receptionist?
para legal training to fax documents?
hazardous materiel training to be a messenger?
    $$$ pay the state
    $$$ pay the state

There have even been several lemonade stands as well as a hotdog stand run by a 13 year old that have been shut down for not being licensed. That 13 year old has parents that are both very sick and he was working to help support his family. They are now homeless as a result.

How else can big government survive if not off the sweat of its victims? That's why they have all these ridiculous licenses and fee's and inspections and taxes and traffic tickets. The moocher system must be supported somehow. Its too late for us, no amount of taxes or extortions can support our economy now with all these blood sucking government organizations and the massive fraudulent derivative debt that we now own. We are headed right down the sh!t pipe and anyone with basic economic knowledge knows that you can't spend more money than you have without going bankrupt. The problem is that the same vampires that are wrecking our economy and blowing things up and shooting people have control over the media. The media tells everyone that the economy is coming back around when in actuality its headed for a cliff. Ignorance is bliss until the hammer drops... And when the hammer drops the banks will own everything including our a$$es
America; first we fight for our freedom,
then we make laws to take it away.

While it might seem cold blooded to shut down an operation such as the one you mentioned the reason is that such an operation could get someone very sick or even dead.

With food preparation you just never know.....

Got a link to that story ???

Found the story.... looks like local capitalist business owners got together and demanded that the government shut this boy down because he was cutting into their business........lol

Must be some crappy restaurants if a hot dog stand is stealing their customers.

I woulnt eat off a hot dog cart or buy lemonade from a lemonade stand...... even eating in a licensed restaurant is a gamble....

Lawyers have infiltrated every facet of our society. Seems like just about every American, now a days, is their own little "mini-lawyer", googling up "facts and laws" to support their petty, selfish arguments, which, at times, supports their right to "free money, ie... a lawsuit.
So, what else is government and the private sector to do but to mandate certified training and licensing for just about everything we do in our lives? I mean....what do you expect?
Again, people make a break a society. Blame the government all you want. They simply "react" to the people they govern over.

    Just shoot me now

    http://www.foxbusiness.com/on-air/st...x-news-channel

It made me want to try to jump through the legal hoops required to open a simple lemonade stand in New York City. Here's some of what one has to do:

1)Register as sole proprietor with the County Clerk's Office (must be done in person)

2)Apply to the IRS for an Employer Identification Number

    3)Complete 15-hr Food Protection Course!

4)After the course, register for an exam that takes 1 hr. You must score 70% to pass. (Sample question: "What toxins are associated with the puffer fish?") If you pass, allow 3-5 weeks for delivery of Food Protection Certificate.

5)Register for sales tax Certificate of Authority

6)Apply for a Temporary Food Service Establishment Permit. Must bring copies of the previous documents and completed forms to the Consumer Affairs Licensing Center.

Then, at least 21 days before opening your establishment, you must:

Arrange for an inspection with the Health Department's Bureau of Food Safety and Community Sanitation. It takes about 3 weeks to get your appointment. If you pass, you can set up a business once you:

-Buy a portable fire extinguisher from a company certified by the FDNY and set up a contract for waste disposal.

We couldn't finish the process. Had we been able to schedule our health inspection and open my stand legally, it would have taken us 65 days.

I sold lemonade anyway. I looked dumb hawking it with my giant fire extinguisher on the table.

Tourists told me they couldn't believe that I had to get "all those permits." A Pakistani man said, "That's crazy! You should move to Pakistan!"

But I don't want to move to Pakistan.

Politicians say, "We support entrepreneurs," but the bureaucrats make it hard. The Feds alone add 80,000 pages of new rules every year. Local governments add more. There are so many incomprehensible rules that even the bureaucrats can't tell you what's legal. In the name of public safety, politicians strangle opportunity.

The State of NY has been promoting a new commercial. it's called "NY Open for business"

well. not really. The dept of Taxes is constantly harassing small business. I pay my sales tax annually. But the tax dept has sent me a "Tax warrant" every month this year for "Failure to pay my QUARTERLY SALES tax for <insert random quarter and year ie: 3 quarter of 2005, or second quarter of 2007> Every time I respond/explain to them that for the last 10 years I have paid annually. But it's easier for a bureaucrat to continue to harass me than to actually do their job. If I sue them for harassment, it will tigger a retaliatory audit in which case they will make up the rules as they go
I only drink a little, but when I do
I turn into another person and THAT person drinks a lot

I like watching you guys complain about things I know nothing about....of course I know very little about the restrictions placed on people in cities because I live rural...I would tell you to come on down where life is easier...but you might bring some of that BS you speak of with ya.

Then again I've seen work done by people who don't have permits...like dryer vents in the garage type of deals....people screw it up for other people...it's a fact of life.

back when i was a kid, my parents had an idea or two to start some business ideas.
the government scared the hell out of them "you need a license!",
"you need a store front!" , "the IRS is gonna be after you!"

now that the whole area is turned Hispanic, suddenly all the strict rules are gone.
thanks to America's Bend-over-backwards-for-foreigners policy, ...what happened to the excuse of shutting down lemonaid stands due to
    "safety"?
i went to the park the other day and there were 3 vans selling food out ofthe back, they are there every single day.
in the greater Los Angeles area, it is now common to see Hispanics with carts parked along major streets, selling food to the public

the government doesn't give a rat's ass about people's safety, they do it for the fees, and the little thrill they get from bossing people around.

i don't know when the majority of the public will face the fact our government is completly worthless

This is because they want a sea of socialist voters. Just look at California. They want immigrants fat and happy so they multiply. Make no mistake, patriots and misguided patriots are the enemy of the hijacked government
