Static air and total air pressure?
What is the range in inches of water that I would expect to see on commercial sized equipment. Trying to decide what magnahelic I should buy or if I'd be better off with a digital mono meter.

get the testo 510, it will measure up to 40 inches of water column, alot more than one would ever need.
u can use it for gas pressure and pressure switches as well, very good price, and high quality. ive had mine for 3 years with no issues

on commercial units with a high static u wont see much over 2 inches to 3 inches

I did OK with a 0-5" mag gauge for quite a while, then I bought the Testo 510.
I like it a LOT better than the mag gauge.
