Was Paul Ryan a good choice, really?
everyone wants to be Tea Party now.
Paul Ryan is Tea Party.
see that bum over there? he's Tea Party too!
Ryan supported the budgets and he supported the bail outs.
i doubt he's Tea Party.
he's a candy-ass that got into politics at 28 years old, he don't know anything about life
Paul Ryan is the guy who tried to privatize Social Security.
so by selecting this guy, the Democrats win their senior citizen scare votes back.
i have no doubt the, 65 million in profits, "non-profit", AARP are going to do their job to get the word out.
all they have to do is say, "if this guy privatizes your SS, you would have lost it in the stock market, now he wants to be VP"

He looks like A young Ron Reagan. Republicans are spinning their wheels. Like it or not McCain would have had same Stimulus Plan. Hammering Gay Marriage, Abortion and wether President is a citizen or not really not bringing votes to Romney. Democrats can only F- up by acknowledging Romney.

Plus he is an athiest.
Yes, I know he goes to church or mass or whatever those catholics do...... but then again many ....if not all politicians...and many businessmen go to church to put on a front......... to be seen by the community as a man of god.
He will pay for it though wolfstrike.... he will burn in hell for an eternity with all the other heathens.
And of course....with this choice...Romney screwed the pooch as far as getting elected.
This selection will only drive more poor and lazy folks out to vote out of fear that they will lose their bennies under someone like Ryan.
Oldsters wont be much of a problem though as all this voter id stuff is in part designed to keep older folks from voting.

I find myself actually pondering sitting this one out, something I would never, ever have considered before...>> http://www.wnd.com/2012/08/ryan-is-a-rino/
The problem is that Paul Ryan is not part of the solution. In fact, Paul Ryan is one of the politicians who is even more responsible for the current economic crisis than Barack Obama. Consider his voting record:
YES on Economic Stimulus Act of 2008
YES on $15 billion bailout for GM and Chrysler.
YES on $192 billion additional anti-recession stimulus spending.
YES on prescription drug benefit for Medicare recipients
YES on extending unemployment benefits from 39 weeks to 59 weeks
YES on Head Start Act
YES on No Child Left Behind Act
YES on making the PATRIOT Act permanent
YES on allowing electronic surveillance without a warrant
YES on emergency $78 billion for war in Iraq & Afghanistan
...it's going to be a long election season.
(The wise men of modern thought) adore a god made of putty or of wax - plastic, effeminate, molluscous, with no masculine faculty about him, and no quality that entitles him to the respect of just and honest men, for a being who cannot be angry at wrongdoing is destitute of one of the essential virtues, and a moral Ruler who is not angry with the wicked, and who refuses to punish crime, is not divine. ---Spurgeon

Of course he is. Presidents are dictators. They recommend public policies but congress actually votes them into law. The president has very limited powers without the approval of congress. Jsut as with most any local government. Even further, congress can get the president removed if they have sufficient reason. Heck, I think they can even pass a constitutional amendment and modify the constituation to eliminate the position altogether if they really wanted.
You want to blame eanyone, blame your elected representatives to Congress and the Senate.

The dems are screwed and they know it.......there was a run on T.P. in D.C. this weekend.....This country ain't as dumb as you think I is.........see ya in Nov.

Absolutely. Ryan is an excellent choice. There isn't a Congressman more knowledgable about oyr fiscal situation and the terrible impact of Obamas policies.
Those who question his selection have to remember that its the Democrats that have constructed the narrative of how hes going to destroy Medicare. They fail to mention that Obama gutted medicare to the tune of 700 million dollars.

A few months ago, Mitt Romney said that maybe we ought to change the constitution so that "the president has to spend three years working in business before he becomes president of the United States. Then he or she would understand that the policies they are putting into place have to encourage small business to grow." Aside from being a profoundly stupid thing to say from the get-go, it looks like Mitt is now going to have to walk that one back, too since Ryan hasn't worked in the private sector for anywhere near 3 years.
