What magic dust did you use?
Customer was surprised that it was this bad, only a year since the last cleaning. Dog house and doggy door within 2 ft of unit. 2 large dogs. I threw in a before and after picture.
What magic dust did you use?
At least they aren't peeing on it. Yet.
Amazing that you got that "lint brush" so nice and clean. Good job. Took a while, did it?
My favorite lint to pick out of the Trane/American Standard lint brush is cottonwood fluff.....
Dryer lint is nice too.
How could the poor Dogs sleep w/ all that noise right outside the crib??
I imagine it is a bit quiter during the heat of the day now.....

Hi jackee88 and welcome. Where are you from?
you can actually take a small propane torch and burn it off, not joking.

i heard that is how trane wants the coils cleaned with a torch
Yea they sell more units that way! Lol
Just reading the IOM on a ycd340. they say if using chemicals to not exceed 150* liquid temps on coil or it may burst. How do we regulate are torches when cleaning?
How is the proper way to clean those on a typical "check & clean". Of course I'm Only supposed to spend about 30 minutes at the job unless more time is needed.
I always took off the two ends of a Trane condenser and with a water hose only, cleaned the two ends and just sprayed up the louvers for the other two sides. It got the coil clean enough to work sufficiently.
