    Those bearings are fine!

    Another case of lack of caring. These bearing have been written up that they need to be replaced for some time now. The property managers seem to feel that if it's still working, it doesn't need attention.

    that is a normal sound. those are the SKF Grind-O-Matic bearings!
    "Right" is not the same as "Wise".

    Don't step on my favorite part of the Constitution just to point out your favorite part.

    Just because you can measure it, doesn't mean it is important. Just because you can't measure it, doesn't mean it isn't important.

    It will get expensive when they lock up. No grease is bad, switching between Graphite (black) and better quality lithium, and synthetic also helps kill them.
    Once that shaft gets ruined, you are in for it. Give that account to the new guy, asap!
