airtec diffusers
Has anyone had any experience using airtec diffusers. I am interested in any pros or cons on these. Seems like they could be a time saver, but I'd like to hear any long term results using these plastic all in one diffusers. Also do these have any adverse effect on noise levels?
TIA

How are they a time saver? Seems to me you have to cut a hole in the ceiling or ceiling tile and connect the flex duct regardless. I don't see any advantage over a conventional round ceiling grill or usign a boot and rectangular grill. I'm not sure how good the airflow pattern is on the airtech or the maximum velocity. Hart & Cooley publishes this data for all of their grills.
