H10G and H10PM for R-410a
I have been trying to contact Bacharach to get the sensitivity of these 2 leak detectors on R-410a. They sent me this,
(I am trying to find the Sensitivity for R410a for the H10G and H10PM and I will forward them to you as soon as I can, but in the meantime, please review the attached document.
Although I do not know the Sensitivity specs, I do know that increasing the heater voltage and using the small manual leak mode will aid in detection of R410a.)
H10 PM
For testing for R410A you should use the SMALL, MANUAL leak mode
setting and you should increase the heater voltage slightly. Looking at the
Heater Voltage adjustment potentiometer, visualize a clock face around the
potentiometer and increase (clockwise) the potentiometer the equivalent of 2
hours on the clock face. After checking for R410a, you should return the
potentiometer to its original position.
H10 G
For testing for R410A you should use the SMALL leak mode setting and
you should increase the heater voltage slightly. Looking at the Heater
Voltage adjustment potentiometer on the back side of the case, visualize a
clock face around the potentiometer and increase (clockwise) the
potentiometer the equivalent of 2 hours on the clock face. After checking
for R410a, you should return the potentiometer to its original position.
I have not tried this but it is worth a shot. If anyone has any better info than I do please let me know.
