Thanks so much guys. I imagine I'd have to go out and do some door knocking, so to speak, which I don't mind doing if it comes down to that. At least I'll have some (maybe?) control over who I can work with. Does the UA always accept people every year, or only when they feel that there is work available? Is there some kind of communication between contractors and the UA in regards to this? What if there is nothing available, I'd still be going to class just without the OJT? I know I should leave this for the local I'm with but its still another 3 weeks before I hear anything
