Not 100% sure, but I'm going to say deenergized based on what I know about the valve's normal operation.Originally Posted by NANOTECH
Got a Parker Sport 09 dual temp. valve. Is the bottom dual temp. coil energized or deenergized for med. temp. ?
Thanks

Not use to this dual temp. setup. Use to seeing Sporlan SORIT with solenoid in the pilot line! Switched the toggle switch at bottom of case and the DT coil does not appear to energize or deenergize and top coil is enrgized but will only stay in med. temp. need low temp. ? Have an old Danfoss NC25-- DT setup is com on? Switched to manual on still med. temp!
I haven't seen but a handful of those.
Wally-Mart used them and I haven't seen the inside of a wally mart for a major refer problem, or even a minor one for quite a few years.
OK thanks JP! Screwed in the manual stem ( rack pressure) for now-- no defrost (hot gas) Will play with it more tomorrow!!
We got lot's of them in operation out here.
It's a (S)PORT-B
MT mode is with shut off solenoid energized & bypass solenoid de-energized.
LT (wide open) mode is with shut off solenoid energized & bypass solenoid energized.
Defrost is shut off solenoid de-energized & it doesn't matter which posistion the bypass solenoid is in.
