    mini-split manufacturers

In the standard a/c marketplace there are different brands manufactured by the same company. Is that the same situtation with mini-splits?

I know our Rheem units are made by another manufacturer and labelled as is the same with a few other brands that I'm aware of, but I don't think it's to the same extent as the ac market.

Not sure, as it is a fairly new market. I would not be surprised tho. I recently found our the Unitary Products (York, Coleman, Frazier Johnson, etc) makes a ton of labels.

Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, daikin, Sanyo, LG, are the big names in the ductless world. Not all of them make their own compressors, you will find Mitsubishi compressors in many of the Fujitsus for example. Although I believe Fujitsu is starting to make their own
