    allum repair

    Is there any GOOD, proven over time, method of repairing an alluminum tube?

    Someone used to make a compression coupling for aluminum.

    The name escapes me at the moment.

    Trane has a repair coupling for this application. will not work on microchannel. seek warranty replacement coil.

    Today i used a micro channel repair kit with an aluminum rod with built in flux. Had to keep the heat low but worked pretty good.
