Dependable meter for maint. tech
Hello everyone I'm new here and shopping for a dependable meter. I'm a maintenance tech for a apartment community. I'm searching for a dependable meter that will do what i need. I will be my meter for everything I need one for. Im shopping to replace my crappy cheap Klein meter. It needs to do ac dc check capacitors take temps and be user friendly. I would like to not spend over 200 but if I need to then I will have to. So what do you recommend?

it was working.... played with it.... now its broke.... whats the going hourly rate for HVAC repair

I'm looking for specific meters. Not just brand names sorry I didn't mention that.

oh ..... well get a fluke that does all those things you want..... have been using fluke forever with zero problems..... they are expensive though....
it was working.... played with it.... now its broke.... whats the going hourly rate for HVAC repair

I used the sc 77 for the past 3 years, its a backup to my sc 56 now, but thr 77 was flawless, either will be a good decision, well worth the money, ive never used any other brand, so I cant comment on them

i keep looking at the sc57. i like the wireless aspect that would make ac work easier instead of climbing 3 flights of stairs going from the unit to the air handler
