Yet another ice gem . .
here's a beauty from tonight. First time at this location for a no production call. It smelled like total sh!t in the kitchen & the aroma of dirty a$$ was permeating in the air but couldn't figure out it's origin . . . Until i removed the panels ... like always "I've seen worse" & really don't know the scent of dirty a$$ but if i could guess something close here it is. I wanted to go warn all the people eating here & hanging at the bar but that's not my place.

Changing a cool vapor valve on the machine on left would be *****.

Hvac_wiz I already know you are a quality tech because you got a makita impact. Is the hammer drill snuggled fitted into it bluegreen carrying case.

SLIME IN THE ICE MACHINE!
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

You want clean ice machines? Requiring a transparent front cover would solve that in a heartbeat. Just think, you can eat at (fill in the name), and see everything that's happening above the pop dispenser. Won't see anymore pink or black mold guaranteed. I've come across a couple drive thru units that were growing green algae from the sun shining thru the windows LOL. Transparent covers on the pop dispenser nozzles would cause the cockroaches to find another place to hang out. I think I'm going to market this. Think I'll have any takers???

I agree that the front panel should be clear. Everything out here has high quality filters on the water inlet, so I barely see anything.
I cleaned a few that have run for 6+ years, and they were clean.
