Oh 2sac, I feel your pain! Residential Hvac in Chicago. How can such a large city have no real requirements to install this stuff in this city, of course there are requirements but not for the people who put it in. Just shake my head as I watch the guy carrying his box of flex into the house across the street. What to do?

I have seen it used outside to slow down the weathering process on insulation. Seems good in theory. But that one is on the inside. What's the theory there ?
