The last non-union outfit I worked for, offered a $1500 reward for bringing a new tech aboard, they pay $750 upon hiring and $750 after 6 month, one of my co-workers got the reward.
around here union shops dont operate that way, they entice techs to jump ship by offering paid vacation and over-scale wages.
Maxster, whats your game? are you looking for work? or new hires?

some owners over the years in conversation, asking Oh...do you know any guys?i use to say for $1000 maybe, and they would look at me like ...WHAT
thinking i should do it for free cause i work for them.$750-$1000 is a good range with tech in a van out doing breakdowns and start-ups-installs.the guy in my first post runs a 638B union shop and has no source to contact the union for people they will send a A fitter at $50HR,and that's just to show up....
