    I have a small house with propane radiant floor heating, no AC. I am thinking about putting in a mini split.

    Question:
    Should I put in a heat pump? Would running the heat pump on a mild day cost less energy than using propane?

    On average yes the heat pump would be cheaper to operate.
    But it may not feel as comfortable, as radiant.
