Start Relay and Start Capacitor for Freidrich
This new wall unit had the rotary compressor burn out after one year
Evidently there is an electrical problem.I want to install start gear,Start relay and Start Capacitor,INSTEAD of a off the shelf hard start pack on the replacement compressor
Freidrich and Johnstone offered very little help.I am unable to determine the manufacturer of the compressor
I want to match it with the correct relay and Capacitor
Capacity 36,000 BTU 208 Volts Single Phase @ R410 A
Friedrich Compressor # 617 171 32
Friedrich Wall AC Unit# SL36M30A

The 61717132 number is a compressor Kit number, which includes the compressor and a few other items.
The older "L" (modifier code) units had a potential relay and start capacitor on them, but these newer "M" series, don't.
Looking at the parts list for this unit, there is no OEM hard start kit for this compressor, which I think is an LG compressor.
Your best bet is to just install a 5-2-1 U1 compressor saver.Instead of learning the tricks of the trade, learn the trade.

Pulled the unit out of wall today
Initially compressor would attempt to start
but would make a grinding noise and cut out
The threaded grommets that the compressor mounting bolts screw into
broke off.The mounting bolts eventually came out.Compressor vibration
broke the suction line/oil trap. The compressor continued to run, until I gather it lost all its oil
