I think we need a bigger ladder...
Hard to see in the pic but count 7 stories up and in the middle of the pic where the buildings meet. Yes, that's a condensing unit on a platform off the side of the building.

Man, if i think about how many times ive left a tool on top of a condenser.
Just imagine dropping a valve cap?Every customer you take for granted today will be someone else's tomorrow.

There's your working platform. You can just barely get the gauges on probably.

how about one day that unit stops working because of a bad contactor. ummm is it really worth the trouble ha ha ha

All that is needed is to repel from the upper window. I charge extra for working off a rope above the sixth floor.
