I think a lot of us have been down the same road.
Those Promaxx units have been the mainstay and we cannibalized several to keep others operation. Now we have almost all replaced with the Appion, with good results....they are fast.You can't learn a thing with your mouth open.

promax is good for a doorstop. I sold mine the second the Appion went big.

We have more dead ProMaxx's sitting around here than I can count. They were all warriors, but got expensive to keep running. Started buying the Appions last year. Man what a difference.

Agreed. Appion not only makes an excellent vac and recovery machine but their customer support is awesome. Had an issue with one of our vac's (bad o ring's at the debris tube) - contacted Appion and they sent the updated (red o ring on top now) o ring kit for free! Gotta love good customer support.
