Best way to humidify whole house, geothermal install
I currently have forced air propane and I'm going with Bosch geothermal. I have an aprilaire 600 humidifier on my furnace now. The plan is to move it and reinstall in the heat pump. But won't that waste a lot of water to the condensate pump?
The water kicks on every time it calls for heat, which was fine with my oversized furnace but with the heat pump calling for heat all Winter, the water will run all the time, right? What's the best way to humidify the air in the Winter with a geo heat pump? Thanks

It should be equipped with a humidistat, set it and forget it.

You will find that your humidifier won't have to run as much with your geo to maintain humidity.

Your average humidistat closes on humidity rise.

Sorry I should have said " the probe thingy that senses the humidity in the house, and regulates it ".
