    Confused capacitors and fuses

Help Please... I have had three capacitors in 6 months go out, two disconnect fuses blow in one week and a terminal wire burn out twice in two months. Philco 2 ton condenser. What do I get from my guy... Well they don't make capacitors like they use to. There has got to be another problem, like a loose connection or something.

You have a serious electrical issue. If you have had a professional work on it get someone else that last guy is an idiot. If you are DIYing it, this is a no DIY site get a professional.

You got a dangerous electrical problem that will require either parts replaced, electrical reconfiguration, or an electric company.

I would not expect it to be a cheap repair. You got maybe a 3% chance it will be simple cheap repair.

Dangerous to people who work on it and don't have the right training and gear.

Nothings that is likely to blow up or destroy/damage property or people who aren't messing with it.
