capacitors and fuses
Help Please... I have had three capacitors in 6 months go out, two disconnect fuses blow in one week and a terminal wire burn out twice in two months. Philco 2 ton condenser. What do I get from my guy... Well they don't make capacitors like they use to. There has got to be another problem, like a loose connection or something.

You have a serious electrical issue. If you have had a professional work on it get someone else that last guy is an idiot. If you are DIYing it, this is a no DIY site get a professional.

You got a dangerous electrical problem that will require either parts replaced, electrical reconfiguration, or an electric company.
I would not expect it to be a cheap repair. You got maybe a 3% chance it will be simple cheap repair. If you're too "open" minded, your brains will fall out.
