Do I need to drill a hole in the back of the cabinet to change out the cap tube?

That is the easiest way to do it. Try not to drill through the suction line, though, like I did. Then you have to run a new cap tube and suction line.

When you get a chance, call True and ask if they will send you their service manual. It covers cap tubes and alot of other info.
