    Worth anything? (scrap)

    If so, how should i prep it before i take it to the local recycler?

    bust the plastic off, some yards will give you number 2 copper price, others will say its number 3, but either way, at least 2 bucks a pound

    So, underneath the nickle is all copper? Even the cube grid (dividers)?

    yep. Usually 10 lbs worth of copper, if there's any doubt either before or while you're at the scrapyard, just scrape it with a screwdriver. The nickel plating's pretty thin

    Take a torch to the nickel worth more$$$$$$$$ had company do this to thaw the coil evap fubar
    Honeywell you can buy better but you cant pay more

    I told my wife when i die to sell my fishing stuff for what its worth not what i told her i paid for it
