First on these new furnaces I have laid horizontal. Forgot to order the grommet for the drain trap..oops.

Around 6" of room above the false ceiling. Don't really care for the line set.

I did go back and glue some padding on the ends of the strut!

typically from the installs i have seen with it inside it looks like sh!t but this, i.m.o. actually looks good

Look great!! Some install manuals I have read for the coils say to install the dryer on the liquid line, as close to the txv as reasonable to maximize the protection of the txv... Once again nice work..

For what it's worth, I was always taught to put the liquid drier near the coil as well. Maybe it makes no difference, who knows, I'm getting old and taught by old timers lol. for what it's worth, I don't think it hurts the look of the install.

We put the drier in front of the meter too. It does not look bad at all.

Gotta say a very unique install but beautifully done.

Hadn't laid one horizontal and pulled return in the side, or the bottom now. Only thing that would work and still be able to get the water heater out of that corner.

Drier inside. Never rusts. Closer to txv...

Very clean install. If the drier isnt internal to the unit I place them near the evaporator as well. Alot of us have started doing it.

You need a float switch in the auxillary and/or an emergency drain pan under that coil.

We never do anything with the secondary drain, no one around here does. If it has a overflow pan then we put a float switch in it.

Very nice work. Judging from the attention to detail I bet you got pressures right on the money, sh and sc to spec... I like the way the line set is just perfectly routed. I dont see anything wrong with that setup. Keep up the good work, thanks for sharing..

Here in Florida near the coast you have to put the dryer inside or it won't last.
