Swager Recommendation
What type of swager do you use or which one do you recommend?

I use the CBI CT300 chinese knock-off hydraulic expander. It works great. I use it on almost every install. It was over $100 cheaper than the lever action yellow jacket a couple of years ago. I see that yellow jacket has a new hydraulic expander now. It looks almost exactly like the CBI.
It may have a blow out some day and become useless. Time will tell.

I use the CBI CT 100. Lever action. One of my favorite tools. Never swage w/hammer again.

Hydra-swage 71600 made by Mastercool. I also do a lot by hand because I'm old and I like the sound it makes when hammering
Do you guys have a problem with copper pipe splitting esp new stuff with the hydrolic swage? If I go real slow it doesn't happen as often.
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome!

I just bought the yellow jacket model # 60407, have used it a few times,it tends to split the copper near the edges, maybe I'll try to squeeze slower.the thing was 350 bucks at aireco.I would hate to have wasted my money.
