Replace evaporator instead of just TXV
I'm getting an in-warranty replacement of the TXV in a Carrier CNPVP N coil which has been in use for 5 years.
I'm not that concerned about the rusty evaporator (see attached pic) because I know thats what they do. However, I've replaced two evaporators (two units) in 10 years (Goodman, not this Carrier), so I'm thinking for not too much more money, I could possibly have the evaporator replaced.
Is it logical to pay the price difference and get the entire evaporator replaced?

If it's copper, I would upgrade to the tin plated for more money.
