    What is the SEER for an Amana split AC ?

    I have an Amana condenser (2.5 Ton, Model RCE30A2B) installed about 11 years ago. Can some one tell me what the SEER # is for that unit ? Thanks.

    It's listed as a 14-16.5 SEER unit depending on the match-up. So I'd robably call it a 14 SEER nominal.

    We'd have ot know hte indoor unit model and indoor evaporator coil model number to tell you the actualy matched performance.

    Even then, the length of your lineset, how accurately it's charged, and size of ductwork will also affect efficiency.
