Attachment 277001customer said her dog just started urinating on it this year. She was shocked when I told her there was no refrigerant left in system

I think she needs to take her dog to the vet or change its diet! Lol! I had one last week like that not quite as bad though, still had all its juice, but didn't cool the house.

Thats a superfund site. Combination of dog piss and aluminum leaching into the soil.

Put your face over top of the condenser fan while it's running to appreciate the aroma. Too bad here was no refrigerant in the system it would have smelled even better with some warm coils

Yeah, It's bad. What's worse is when it's a mice nest in there, they seem to do the same thing to the aluminum. You get that dead mouse smell going along with the ammonia, now it's a party!

(Gagging here thinking of the last one I saw as I was trapped under a deck working on this thing)

What's funnier yet, is the homeowner is doubtful that urine is what rotted the aluminum, they start accusing each other of beating it up with the weed whacker LOL.

Sis's unit is worse than that. Even has a cabinet on it. Some little shrimp of a mutt must have gotten his whiz up under the louvers for some time. They have no idea whose dog it was. Still going strong.
