    Any Camps Hiring in Canada?

    Hey,
Currently a 2nd Year 313A Apprentice in Niagara, Ontario.
Looking for fly-in/fly-out work out west. Would rather stay local but for harsh times, willing to do anything to fill the required hours needed for C of Q. I am a very eager and hard working individual.

Does anyone know of companies looking to hire apprentices?
    Should i contact the union?

    Regards,

By the way, what are the apprentice rates out on the patch? Also any companies flying out of Calgary or Edmonton? Ontario's a hard nut to crack for 1st year ICI apprenticeships without being tight with someone well connected in a union shop or working as a gas fitter for a couple of years before being signed on for the 5 year apprenticeship.
