    going to hvac school right now when i get out i plan to go for
    Electrical or plumbing which one is more important to the hvac
    field which one would make me a better tech

    I would vote for electrical, It all revolves around that. All you need to know about plumbing is that s*** flows down hill. Just kidding.

    It depends what the electrical school teaches. If it teaches control troubleshooting etc it would be very important. If it's electrician school, teaches code and pulling wire from point A to point B leave it alone.

    You'll find very few electricians that can troubleshoot complex control circuits!

    I echo market-tech. If the school teaches how to draw up and use ladder diagrams, and control troubleshooting, that's what you need.
