    Unhappy

I need advice when it comes to looking for new graduate or atleast recruit HVAC techs that just got out of school. Please help on what are red flags if they really dont know what they are doing or knowing if they are really good as they say.

I usually ask them to explain superheat and how a TXV works.

If they can't answer those two things then it's 'thanks for stopping by'.

All new employees go on a 90 day probationary period no matter what.

Keep looking, you need an experienced tech, you will have to hold a graduates hand for one maybe two years.
