    What steps to prevent noise?

today we replaced a condensor on a flat roof.
i thought "cool, this one has a Scroll in it"
then i realized after we left that the master bedroom is probably right under it.

it had a roof platform and i put the rubber feet under it.

i'm so paranoid about callbacks that i'm already online pricing a compressor jacket.

what are other good things to do?

Well you didn't get much help with that 1 . if it's in the same location as it was before I'm sure they are used to it . The comp. Jacket couldn't hurt if your comp. is noisy .

I finally tried one of those jackets and she said it made a world of difference. This unit was a recip though and located between two houses about eight feet apart
