10 Ton Rheem
2008 RKKB So I see that the 2 evaporator circuits are mixed together. Same with the condenser. What a bugger to charge. Had to put gauges on both circuits at the same time. Found that one circuit would respond to what was going on with the other. I all most always come across two separate as in separated circuits, on RTU's. How about you ?

I usually just weigh in the charge.
No data tag then charge it depending on orifice type.

Next time I cross paths with one of these that's probably what I'll do. When I added gas to one circuit, the added heat at the condenser, would make the other circuit rise.
Every other row was a different circuit. Do you understand what I'm saying ? One gauge at 250 add gas at other and that 250 goes to 300.

Run one at a time. The last time I seen a multi circuit system give me that sort of problem, someone put the txv bulbs on the wrong circuits. One at factory, one done during service. Wonder why they lost 3 compressors?
